Harold Leroy Berkey, 89, formerly of Kosciusko County, went home to be with his Lord at 9:10 p.m. Sept. 21, 2016, at his Goshen residence. He had been in ill health since August of 2015.

Dale Dodier, 55, Warsaw, passed away at 9:55 p.m. Sept. 22, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

 Mazzie L. Selleck, 82, Laketon, died at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 20, 2016, in her residence. She was born May 11, 1934, in Maysville, Ga., to William D. and Pearlie May Allen Minish. On July 17, 1958, she married Carl E. Selleck, who survives. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 14W, North Manchester, with Pastor Dave Cox officiating. 

Patricia K. Johnston, 70, Warsaw, passed away at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 20, 2016, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.  She was born June 1, 1946, to Milo W. and Edna Poirson Lightfoot in Marion. On April 20, 1963, in Pierceton, she was united in marriage to Paul Johnston, who survives in Warsaw.

June Marie Vanator, 84, formerly of Leesburg, died Sept. 11, 2016, at DeKalb Health, Auburn. She was born Nov. 6, 1931, in Indianapolis, to Larry H. and Violet Little Gommadinger. On June 12, 1982, in Clunette, she married Richard M. Vanator, who died June 15, 1997.

Harry “Jim” Boggs, 87, Warsaw, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones at 8:50 p.m. Sept. 15, 2016, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.  He was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Chicago, to Helen Claire Dale Boggs and Harry Weber, and welcomed by his older sisters Betty and Nancy. The family later made its home on a farm south of Warsaw, where Jim developed a strong work ethic.

FORT WAYNE – Donald John Doehla, 86, Fort Wayne, passed away Sept. 16, 2016, at Life Care of Fort Wayne.  He was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Fort Wayne, to George and Mary Doehla. On May 20, 1961, he married Loretta Held, who preceded him in death in 2002. 

URBANA – Randy L. Frye, 64, Urbana, died at 4:45 a.m. Sept. 17, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 9, 1951, in Fort Wayne, to Lester and Doris Hodges Frye.

Doris Marian Mitchell, 96, Warsaw, passed away at 9:44 a.m. Sept. 15, 2016, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.  She was born Oct. 28, 1919, in Baltimore, Md., to Adelia Schad and William Short. On March 27, 1942, she was married to Donald Cameron Mitchell, who passed away Oct. 3, 1993.
