GOSHEN – Harold Leroy Berkey, 89, formerly of Kosciusko County, went home to be with his Lord at 9:10 p.m. Sept. 21, 2016, at his Goshen residence. He had been in ill health since August of 2015. He was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Goshen, to Roy B. and Ruth Bowman Berkey. On Aug. 6, 1950, he married Marjorie Ellen Klotz at Nappanee Missionary Church. She survives. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 1 at Nappanee Missionary Church. The Rev. Dale Brooks, former pastor of Millwood Chapel, will officiate, and burial will be in Rock Run Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 Sept. 30 and for an hour prior to the funeral Oct. 1 at the church.
