Stacy Stine, 44, born to Danny Lee and Charlotte Von on Feb. 24, 1974, in Warsaw, passed away March 16, 2018, in Prescott, Ariz. He is survived by his father, Danny; brothers Rodney (wife Theresa and children Ashley Bryant and Lance Menzie) and Christopher (children Zachary, Alexis, Hannah and Danielle); his wife, Christina Kelly, Syracuse; and five children: Wesley, Kaylin, Ethan, Rebekah and Preston.
Elizabeth May “Biddy” Allen Marks, 85, died at 1:30 a.m. March 18, 2018, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was born July 27, 1932, in Logansport, to Wesley H. “Bus” and Marian I. Dunn Allen. She married Harold L. Marks Jr. on Aug. 19, 1951. He survives.
Frances Patricia “Pat” Kinney, 80, Goshen, formerly of Nappanee, died at 2:48 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa. She was born in Chicago, Ill., on May 11, 1937, to James W. and Frances P. Howe McGriff. She was married to Donald Kinney in 1954. They divorced in 1990.
Susanna J. “Sue” Cox, 82, Leesburg, passed away at 8:21 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born July 11, 1935, in Marion, to Roscoe and Josephine Griffin Thrailkill. She attended Van Buren High School and was married on Feb. 15, 1953, in Van Buren, to Chester L. Cox, who survives. She was a homemaker and moved to Leesburg in 1991 from Marion.
Rita K. Kimberlin, 54, Warsaw, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at her residence. She was born Nov. 9, 1963, in Lawrence County, Ky., to Ray and Ida Jackson Kimberlin.

Cynthia J. “Cyndi” Thornburg, 67, Syracuse, passed away at 6:05 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She was born Sept. 13, 1950, in Lorain, Ohio, to Alan and Billie Lyons Moir. She graduated in 1969 from Chesterton High School, in 1973 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, and received her master’s degree from Purdue University in Fort Wayne.
Loren K. Shambarger, 83, Rochester and Macy, died at midnight Saturday, March 24, 2018, at his daughter’s home. He was born Sept. 5, 1934, in Miami County, to James and Dorthea Goodwin Shambarger. On May 16, 1954, he married Gladys A. Powell. She died April 4, 2015.
Eleanor M. Rapsavage, 93, Warsaw, died Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Mason Health Care Center. Eleanor was born on Sunday, June 8, 1924, in Pana, Ill. She was the only daughter of John and Emma Desatnick Baga. She grew up on the north end of Pana with her five brothers. She attended Sacred Heart School and she graduated from Pana Township High School.

Alice Marie Croy, 90, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018. Born in Kansas, Alice was a member of First Baptist Church, Ocala, Fla. She had a passion for missions and was very involved in missions through her church. She enjoyed singing and was a part of several church singing groups over the years.

Welcome W. Fore Jr., 91, rural Mentone, died at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at his residence. He was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Mentone, to Welcome and Anna Ooley Fore. On July 31, 1948, in Rochester, he married Deloris M. Ginther; she preceded on Dec. 27, 2005. He had worked at Manwaring Leghorn Farms and Midwest Poultry, where he was a maintenance man.
Angela Sue Marshall, known by most as Angie, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in her Leesburg home. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments, passing at 5:26 p.m. Angie was born Feb. 14, 1969, in Warsaw. She was the daughter of Douglas Pifer and Susan Sechrist Croy. Spending most of her lifetime in Warsaw and the surrounding area, she graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1988 before continuing on to earn an associate degree in business. On Dec. 18, 1993, Angie was married to Robert Marshall at her mother’s home — a tradition recently followed by her own daughter, Natasha. Robert and Angie devoted 25 years to each other, sharing many happy memories.

James B. Long, 81, born March 12, 1937, to Harold and Dora A. Long, died in the arms of his loving wife and children on March 19, 2018, at home. Jim graduated from Geneva High School and then earned an aeronautical engineering degree from Purdue University as a member of Phi Delta Theta. He served in the U.S. Air Force, 34th Bomber Squadron (SAC), during the Cuban missile crisis. He was a commercial airline pilot with United Airlines for 32 years, retiring in 1997.
Mary K. Omstead, 84, North Manchester, died at 10:50 a.m. March 18, 2018, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was born July 16, 1933, in Columbus, to William Lucas and Kathryn Kinsel Lincoln. She married Harvey Omstead on April 2, 1984. He died March 2, 2006.
James Leon Frieden, 92, Silver Lake, died at 1:50 p.m. March 1, 2018, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Wabash County, to Henry W. and Anna Pearl Reed Frieden. He married Margaret Shenefield on Dec. 15, 1946. She survives. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from Dec. 23, 1943, to May 23, 1946.

Edwin D. “Ed” Biesemeyer, 93, Silver Lake, passed away at 6:40 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2018, at Warsaw Meadows. He was born Dec. 13, 1924, in Muncie, to Henry and Lillian Shroyer Biesemeyer. He grew up in Muncie, graduated from Muncie Central High School and was a United States Navy veteran. He was married to Elsie Meadows, who survives.
Roger D. Carey, 84, Warsaw, died at 8:05 p.m. Sept. 9, 2017, at Lake City Place, Warsaw. He was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Huntington, to Russell D. and Arlene L. Prough Carey. He moved to Warsaw from Huntington in 2015.
