NAPPANEE – Virginia Jeanette Sheets, 90, formerly of Nappanee, died at 6:27 p.m. Sept. 10, 2014, at Greencroft Nursing Center, Goshen, where she had been a resident for 3-1/2 years.

NEW CASTLE – Lána Lee Norris, 70, of Warsaw, died  June 23, 2011, in her residence, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 5, 1940, in New Castle, to Charles and Madonna Harris Rutledge. She married Jack L. Norris, who survives.
