Letters To The Editor

Editor, Times-Union: Last week we saw Hunter Biden sitting in the Congressional hearing about holding him in contempt of Congress for not going to a closed-door hearing about his business deals with other countries and his dad's involvement in the businesses a crack-smoking whoremongering, man would normally not be allowed to be a part of. If he does appear before a Congressional committee, Democrats have said he can refuse to testify by "taking the Fifth." But that can only happen if he is allowed to violate the provisions of the Fifth Amendment.

Editor, Times-Union: The following is part of my continued series of letters on potential candidates for the 51st state in the Union.

Editor, Times-Union: Bill O'Reilly wrote a series of "killing" books. He should write at least one more killing books and title it "Killing the Truth." It would become one of his most controversial books because there are so many people involved in trying to kill the truth.

Editor, Times-Union: All peoples in the United States are guaranteed to have freedom of religion. I don’t agree with all the different religions that people have, but I respect their right to worship as they see fit, except when it comes to human sacrifice.

Editor, Times-Union: To the Stills family, Etna-Green Café, Community and your Honor, I would like to apologize for my actions while working at the café.

Editor, Times-Union: This is a members-only shooting range. No matter what’s been told.

Editor, Times-Union: Taylor Swift, pop star and beloved icon to millions of fans of all ages, is hated (maybe even feared) and being “canceled” by MAGA Republicans because she successfully encouraged thousands of fans to register to vote.

Editor, Times-Union: Colorado's Supreme Court followed the Soviet example of removing candidates for president that threatened accepted candidates from being re-elected.

Editor, Times-Union: The term “fascism” seems to be thrown around a lot recently — by both Republicans and Democrats. Therefore, it seems necessary to reiterate the definition of this term and the signs that should help everyone recognize just who is using the term correctly and exactly who the real would-be fascists are.

Editor, Times-Union: It would seem that Jeanne Schutz has forgotten a few facts regarding the Biden administration and thought it might be helpful to point these out and offer a suggestion.

Editor, Times-Union: Just because you want to believe a lie that others want to believe doesn't make it the truth.

Editor, Times-Union: I would like to thank two ladies who picked up my wife after a fall at the Walgreens drug store entrance on Monday and helped get her in the car when I was not able to do so.

Editor, Times-Union: As someone who recently and reluctantly moved to this area, I am very much impressed with the letters to the editor by Jeanne Schutz, a shining voice of reason in your normally radical right-wing perspective.

Editor, Times-Union: Most people look at the headlines, but nothing more.

Editor, Times-Union: Did anyone see this news?

Editor, Times-Union: Joe Biden is the most appropriate president to be impeached.

Editor, Times-Union: Thank you more than I can say for coming to help me on Saturday, November 25th in the Aldi parking lot, dear mystery lady!

Editor, Times-Union: Shame on you, Paul Fribley. Why should you care?

God bless ‘em. They are fighting the good fight to keep us safe, to keep us ignorant, to keep us free from sin (as they see it) and to ultimately keep us compliant and obedient.

Editor, Times-Union: It’s me again! I haven’t ranted for a year or so about the speeding cars through our lovely Yellow Retirement community.

Editor, Times-Union: I hate to admit this to Ms. Schutz, but I’m worse than “them” because I no longer care.

Editor, Times-Union: Ever since the Garden of Eden, man has defied God in one way or another.

Editor, Times-Union: The family of John Richard White would like to thank our friends and family for the outpouring of love, prayers, cards, visitation, and flowers.

Editor, Times-Union: Kudos to the Grace College students, Colton and Gabe, who work as part-time delivery guys for Brouwer Furniture.

Editor, Times-Union: Thank you for publishing the lengthy but important Op Ed by Marc Thiessen (Washington Post) on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. I hope many of your readers took the time to read the whole thing.
