Editor, Times-Union:I need to make apologies to both the editors of this newspaper and its readers because of the sloppy handwriting on a previous letter I wrote to the Times-Union. I’m sorry!

- WCDC Report WCDC Report Editor, Times-Union: As President of the Warsaw Community Development Corporation, I am writing to give a year in review report to the community.2004 was an exciting year for our organization highlighted by our cities ' celebration of it's Sesquicentennial.Many volunteers were involved in planning and assisting in the birthday party. The following businesses benefited from the City of Warsaw's Matching Grant program for facade improvements: Courthouse Coffee, WAWC, Bishop Books, Owens & Company, Bob List Photography, Readers World, Mosaique Restaurant and LRB, LLC. The assistance enabled many businesses to create a fresh clean appearance on the face of their buildings.We appreciate the City's cooperation with this program and look forward to working with additional building owners in this the third year of the program.

Editor, Times-Union:In tough economic times, parents might find it harder than ever to make sure their children have everything they need for school.

Jesus should pat you on the head for reciting all those Bible verses.I'd do the same thing for my dog if he'd just deliver my house slippers. What matters to all you corporate harlots is all those foreign investment opportunities, which for obvious reasons always seem to be somewhere just beyond God's golden shore. Editor, Times-Union: Yesterday the figures came out that showed the U.S unemployment rate was somewhere around 9.2 percent. The president and the congress, along with the rest of our representatives, are scratching their thick heads asking how and why this is? Well, guys and gals, let me let you in on a little secret that has evaded you up until now. Spending equals jobs ... OK ... yeah ... duh... Everybody knows that. How is that a big secret?

Editor, Times-Union:The healthcare industry is undergoing profound changes driven by technology and the need to reduce costs and improve outcomes.

Editor, Times-Union:I just finished reading the article in the Jan. 17 Times-Union regarding the proposed immigration ruling for Indiana. Enough is enough already.

Editor, Times-Union:I remember seeing all the protests in Wisconsin over trying to fix the budget problem that was plaguing that state.

I’ve got to admit, the deadline for today’s article snuck up on me. Things have been extremely busy at City Hall, and that’s a good thing.

Editor, Times-Union:Living in North Webster we have the same problem with Ft. Wayne TV stations as Warsaw does.
