Letters To The Editor

Editor, Times-Union: To the establishment and staff of Family Express:

Editor, Times-Union: Really, Times-Union? The biggest, most newsworthy story from this last weekend was Trump demeaning his opponent at his Pennsylvania rally?

Editor, Times-Union: I don’t know if you happen to watch the elitist love fest that Oprah staged for Kamala Harris the other night, but from what I’ve seen it was cringe worthy.

Editor, Times-Union: As a former president of the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club and a long-time member of service clubs, I’ve seen a lot of people come and go. Folks join for all kinds of reasons —networking, a good laugh over breakfast, or just to be part of the community. And while those are all wonderful benefits, too often, they miss out on the greater good of what it really means to be in a service club: to serve.

Editor, Times-Union: Dear Officer Woods, I wanted to write and apologize for my actions on 11/25/23.

Editor, Times-Union: A thank you ...

Editor, Times-Union: Donald Trump has often used the word “nasty” in addressing women who have asked him questions he preferred not to answer or who have called him out for one reason or another.

Editor, Times-Union: The public letter apology to Walmart. I take responsibility for my action. Ty Shepler Warsaw

Editor, Times-Union: About two months ago, one of our former presidents, the Republican nominee for the presidency of the USA was the target of an assassination attempt. It was the seventh attempt on a U.S. President’s life in our history. Assassination attempts have common characteristics that are clearly present here.

Editor, Times-Union: As America approaches another November presidential election, we should do more to protect the basic freedoms that we celebrate by furthering strengthening the constitutional guarantees in the Bill of Rights and other amendments for such freedoms. One place to start would be further expanding on the 9th and 10th amendments to the Constitution.

Editor, Times-Union: When I watched the debate between Trump and Harris, about the only true thing she said was about what to expect. The problem is that she was talking about herself but tried to say it about Trump. Kamala has a track record of failure but hopes we don't look into her history which indicates how a Harris Presidency will be.

Editor, Times-Union: This letter is in response to Ms. Schutz letter "Seeking Truth."

Editor, Times-Union: Dear Officer Swain & Officer Rhodes, I am writing this letter to offer my sincerest apologies for my actions during the recent encounter with law enforcement. I deeply regret and am ashamed of my decision to resist arrest.

Editor, Times-Union: Where do I begin? The American people have been duped telling them we have free and fair elections, but do we?

Editor, Times-Union: To whom it may concern: This is Timothy Schmucker. I am writing to say that I am truly sorry for what my friends and I did this summer. We never meant for anything bad to happen.

Editor, Times-Union: For starters, did you see the mikes in her ears? (Look close.) She wanted you to think they were earrings.

Editor, Times-Union: It was with intense concern for the moral fiber of our nation that I listened to the recent presidential debate. Among a great many issues that were dealt with was that of abortion. I listened with something near horror as I heard one candidate call abortion “health care!”

Editor, Times-Union: A debate has been scheduled between candidates of Indiana’s 2nd congressional district on October 8, but, as usual, one candidate won’t show up.

Editor, Times-Union: As a rule I do not engage with anyone responding to my letters. I would hope skeptics would do as I most strongly encourage everyone to do: fact check everything and everyone you question — me included.

Editor, Times-Union: I'm sad when people don't have the discernment to see how the Biden White House has met with and weaponized justice departments against Trump with frivolous, unfounded charges and lawsuits to drain his personal assets and keep him from campaigning.

Editor, Times-Union: The City of Warsaw-Oakwood Cemetery, the Planning Committee of Hal Heagy, Cheryl Hanna, Patsy See, Ken Locke and Bill Pochron and the Kosciusko County Historical Society would like to thank the following sponsors for their help in making “The 2024 Walking Tour - A Walk Through Our Past” a great success:

Editor, Times-Union: A 22% rate increase “is largely driven by continued investment in renewable energy.”

Editor, Times-Union: There are many prognosticators who believe America is one vote away from becoming a Socialist Communist nation and November 6th is it.

Editor, Times-Union: If you would like to vote early, there are a few things to keep in mind: check your voter registration status to make sure your name has not been wrongfully purged.

Editor, Times-Union: An inordinate amount of attention has been focused on Donald Trump and Kamala Harris and their vice-presidential picks.
