WPD Vehicle Damaged In Pursuit Of SuspectA police chase that began near North Webster Wednesday night led to the arrest of a Goshen man and damage to a Warsaw Police vehicle.
The officer involved in the property damage crash is OK, according to WPD Public Information Officer Ryan Coble this morning.
WPD joined in on the pursuit with Indiana State Police near CR 450E and U.S. 30.
The pursuit ended shortly after that near the intersection of North CR 175E and Kosciusko Drive, Warsaw. The motorist, Jared Marc Borkholder, 32, Goshen, attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.
Borkholder was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 11:11 p.m. Wednesday for possession of meth, resisting law enforcement with use of a vehicle, possession of marijuana – misdemeanor, possession of paraphernalia – misdemeanor, resisting law enforcement and battery on law enforcement. His preliminary bond was set at $5,250.
State Police did not have any further information.
