A Cromwell woman is facing a felony charge in regards to allegedly selling fake drugs. Samantha Yvonne Klinge, 24, of 11139 Humpty Dumpty Drive, Cromwell, was arrested at 11:24 a.m. Thursday with unlawful delivery of a substance represented to be a controlled substance, a Level 6 felony. According to the probable cause affidavit, the NET43 drug task force conducted a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Klinge with documented task force funds on Nov. 4, in which Klinge gave 15 grams of what initially looked like methamphetamine. The substance was represented as methamphetamine by Klinge. The purchase was documented by digital surveillance, according to court documents. When NET43 officers field tested the substance, the substance was found to resemble kosher salt. No bond for Klinge was set.
