According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office report, around 2 p.m. Sunday Winona Lake Police Department officer Riley Arvanitis attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a black 1999 Mercury Mountaineer, driven by Stahl. The vehicle is registered to Daniel G. Hilliard, West Main Street, Mentone.

Stahl then drove through an iron fence at 2615 E. Muirfield Road belonging to David D. Snodgress. Arvanitis continued to pursue Stahl, having to run over the fence to continue. Warsaw Police Department officer Jacob Metzger also was in pursuit and also drove over the fence.

Stahl’s vehicle came to a stop in the yard at 2615 E. Muirfield Road and Metzger’s WPD SUV came to rest against Stahl’s with minimal impact.

Stahl was arrested and her vehicle was towed and impounded.
