Editor, Times-Union: Dave Wolkins’ letter last Thursday, concerning McClaren’s earlier letter, was actually pretty funny. Especially the part about 78 percent supporting the Right to Work bill. I’ll guess that the 78 percent number came from the push poll mailed from his office. By push poll, I mean one where the questions lead you to the answer they want.
The big lie coming from this act is about creating jobs. This bill is all about weakening unions because of their support for pro-labor Democrats, just like happened in Wisconsin and Ohio.
I hope in November we can send the message back that we value the working men and women in Indiana and repeal this unneeded and hurtful law.
