Wilma Louise Ruse Barsh, 89, of Warsaw, died at 10 a.m. May 21, 2007, at Grace Village Health Care Center, Winona Lake.
She was born Feb. 8, 1918, in Warsaw, to Roy and Marjorie Longfellow Ruse. On Jan. 18, 1941, she married Robert Edward Barsh, who died June 14, 1995.
She was a 1935 Warsaw High School graduate. She was owner and secretary/treasurer of Ruse Construction Co. for many years. She was a member of First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, where she had been a member since 1933, and a life-long member of Lambda Chi Omega Sorority.
Surviving are two sons, Barry Barsh, Marietta, Ga., and Ron (and wife Pam) Barsh, Kokomo; six grandchildren: Mrs. Davey (Bonnie) Balboa, Powder Springs, Ga.; Mrs. Manny (Kim) Picciola, Chicago, Ill., Bill Barsh (and wife Melissa) Woodstock, Ga.; Mrs. Patrick (Kristy) Downing, Kokomo; and Robin and Brian Barsh, both of Marietta, Ga.; six great-grandchildren: Caroline and Georgia Barsh, Mila and Daniel Balboa, Olivia Downing and Sofia Picciola; and two sisters, Janice Andrews, Green Valley, Ariz., and Mrs. Don (Dora) Butler, Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at noon Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with the Rev. Ron Horgan officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel.
