William L. Burchett, age 66, of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.
William was born March 24, 1954, to Theodore and Nell Roberts Burchett in Prestonsburg, Ky. William married his best friend, Barbara Copley, on May 19, 1973.
William loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed simple things like gardening, watching westerns and visiting garage sales.
William is survived by his wife, Barbara Burchett, Warsaw; children: Christopher Burchett, Warsaw; W. Joseph (Shonda) Burchett, Warsaw; Suzanne (Byron) Bechtold, Wabash; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katie Jo; his parents; one brother; and one sister.
Services will be a small ceremony with his wife and children. The family asks that you send love and prayers in lieu of a memorial.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with all arrangements for the family.
