William J. Scheibelhut

William J. Scheibelhut, 85, of 3364 N. CR 600E, Warsaw, died at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born May 21, 1923, in Mishawaka, to Edward and Mildred Kline Scheibelhut. In 1950, in Mishawaka, he married Suzanne Speyer, who survives.

He was a retired facilities engineer at Elkhart Memorial High School. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European Theater.

Also surviving are two daughters, Deborra Mroczkiewicz, South Bend, and Cindy Harris, Warsaw; three sons: William G. Scheibelhut, Arcadia; James Scheibelhut, Elkhart; and Joseph Scheibelhut, Vermillion, Ohio; a sister, Ann Bauwens, Osceola; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services and calling will be private.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
