Wildman Fire Contained To Bags Of Towels, ClothingAn early Saturday morning fire at Wildman Business Group, 800 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, remains under investigation.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Public Information Officer Max Kinsey said the fire was contained to bags of clothing, towels, etc., and the heat source of the fire was still undetermined as of Sunday evening.
Damage was estimated at $100,000 to the property and contents.
Warsaw Fire was dispatched to the fire at 3:28 a.m. Saturday after the water flow alarm came in to dispatch at 3:24 a.m.
“Once crews made entry for investigation, they saw a light haze and it got worse as they made their way toward the back of the building,” Kinsey said.
Firefighters ventilated the building after the fire was contained with two Titus (ventilation) fans, including the fan stationed at Warsaw and the other from Silver Lake.
Fire departments from Leesburg, Silver Lake and Winona Lake were called for assistance.
