LIGONIER - Wesley S. "Wes" Brown, 23, of Albion, and formerly of Ligonier, died Sept. 23, 2007, in Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich., from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on Sept. 16.
He was born Aug. 24, 1984, in Goshen, to Mark S. and Billie S. Miller Brown.
A lifetime Noble County area resident, he attended West Noble High School, Ligonier. He worked at Wolf Lake Pub and Mark's Body Shop, Wolf Lake, and formerly worked at Smoker Craft, New Paris, and D&S Construction, Middlebury. He formerly attended Stone's Hill Community Church, Ligonier.
Surviving are his mother, Billie Brown, Kimmell; his father and stepmother, Mark and Christine Brown, Albion; a sister, Mrs. Andy (Sarah) Bollet, Hudson; two half sisters, Mrs. Kurt (Tarah) Lepper, Kimmel, and Julia Brown, Albion; two stepsisters, Mrs. Michael (Sarah) Switzer, Terre Haute, and Lisa Lehman, Fort Wayne; paternal grandparents, Carolyn Hanaur, Fort Wayne, and Fay (and wife Marcella) Brown, Columbia City; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Kosciusko County. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Gilva Miller, and an uncle, David Miller.
Services will be at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Stone's Hill Community Church, 151 W. Stone's Road, Ligonier, with Pastors Joey Nelson and Nathan Becker officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
