Wendy Davis Announces Campaign For Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District

Posted
ALLEN COUNTY – Former Allen County Circuit Court Judge Wendy Davis  announced her campaign Tuesday to represent Indiana’s Third District in Congress.

The district is currently represented by Jim Banks, who is running for U.S. Senate to replace Mike Braun, who is running for Indiana governor.

“I am running for Congress to bring back the strong America that I grew up in. I’ve seen the results of failed liberal policies firsthand in the courtroom, and I’m ready to fight back and implement common-sense, conservative solutions at the federal level,” Davis said.

“The Biden Administration’s failed liberal agenda has demolished our economy, opened our borders and put Christian family values under attack – and the effects have bled from Washington D.C. to our home here in Northeast Indiana. We need trusted and principled conservative fighters in Washington to fight back on behalf of Hoosiers and all Americans, and I’m the right person for the job.

“We currently have an effective conservative fighter representing our district in Jim Banks, and I will continue his legacy of unapologetically championing our shared conservative values. I look forward to meeting with as many Hoosiers in Indiana’s Third District as possible over the coming months to discuss how I can best bring their needs and concerns to Washington.”

She said she and her family moved to Fort Wayne when I was in sixth grade and she and her husband built their family in Northeast Indiana.

“I am excited to fight for the principles and conservative values the people of our district hold dear,” she said.

Davis has served as an Indiana Judge for over 12 years and was the first female elected to the Allen Circuit Court. She and her husband, Scott, a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force, Indiana Air National Guard and U.S. Army veteran, raised their three children in Fort Wayne.
