Wendall D. Klinger, 56, Warsaw, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Nov. 24, 2013, at his residence.
He was born April 4, 1957, in Warsaw, to Duane Klinger and Shirley Hively Rohrer. On Dec. 23, 1978, he married Dawn M. Grubbs, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana. He worked 35 years for Dalton Foundries of Warsaw and was working as the lead utility laborer until his passing.
 He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons,   Steve Klinger, Warsaw, and Erik Klinger, South Whitley;  seven grandchildren: Wyatt and Wayne Klinger, Willow Allen, Wesley and Blaze Farthing, Jordyn Elser and Christopher. Also surviving is his father, Duane Klinger, Ohio; two brothers, Rock (and spouse Bev) Klinger,  Three Rivers, Mich., and Kevin Klinger, Warsaw; four sisters: Deb Klinger, Colorado; Pam (and spouse Mark) Falk, Sidney; Karen (and spouse Pat) Ihnen, Silver Lake; and Kathy Drake, Atwood. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, who died in 2002, his stepfather, Vern Rohrer and his daughter, Melissa Grubbs.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
