WCN Coordinator At Guatemalan Refugee CampJoshua Varab (R), World Compassion Network disaster relief coordinator, is handing over hygiene supplies at a large refugee camp not far from where a volcano erupted earlier this week. WCN also provided the camp with a miniature refrigerator to store insulin. Greg Rauen, executive director for WCN in Warsaw, said the need for bulk medical supplies is very great, and the government in Guatemala is beginning to restrict aid arriving from outside the country. Rauen said Varab has been using donated money to purchase supplies for distribution. Varab will soon visit Antigua and El Rodeo, among the areas hardest hit by the volcanic eruption.
