LARWILL – The Welding Technology program at the Whitko Career Academy continues dual credit status with Ivy Tech Community College.
Students enrolled in the classes have the opportunity to earn up to 15 college credits while in high school. These credits are valid for Ivy Tech Community College and can be transferred to any state accredited college in Indiana. These credits are available free of charge to those students that meet the eligibility requirements.
The following session one welding students have earned nine Ivy Tech dual credits this year in Welding Technology for the 2025-26 school year: Ethan Garcia, Gwen Aker, and Naome Bodie.
The session two welding students have earned nine Ivy Tech dual credits this year in Welding Technology for the 2025-26 school year: Crew Ebbinghouse, Jayden Bontrager, Lincoln Bowers, Haddyn Reed, Cameron Watmaugh, Wyatt Sponseller, Holden Bradford, Wyatt Sponseller and William Mohr.
