MUNCIE – Wayne H. Clark, 83, passed away Nov. 22, 2015, at The Woodlands.
He was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Muncie, to Buford and Bertha Garver Clark. In 1952, he married Mary Lou McDowell, who survives.
He attended Yorktown Schools and was a Warner Gear retiree. He attended the Garden at Gethsemane United Methodist Church.
He was always a homebody and resisted traveling more than a few miles from home, but he did enjoy spending time at his lake house in Warsaw and going out to eat with friends and family.
Also surviving are two sons, Carey (and spouse Cathy) Clark, Albany, and Craig (and spouse Kim) Clark, Warsaw; four grandchildren: Craig (and spouse Tracy) Clark, Fort Recovery, Ohio; Cary Clark, Albany; and Whitney Clark (and Pat Lambert) and Curtis Clark, all of Warsaw; four great-grandchildren: Jakob and Kyra Clark, Fort Recovery, Ohio, and Madison and Camron Morris, both of Warsaw; two sisters, Rachel (and spouse Joe) Johnson, Muncie, and Shirlene (and spouse Steven) Emrick, Yorktown; one sister-in-law, Lucille Segal, Reynolds; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Clark; one sister, Velda Johnson; one brother-in-law, John Johnson; and one nephew, Danny Joe Clark.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 5, 2015, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Tony Collins officiating. Cremation will take place.
