SYRACUSE - Wawasee Community Schools is hosting a free, educational Medicare workshop on Oct. 28 at 5:15 p.m. at Wawasee Community School Professional Learning Center, Central office, in partnership with Everence.
When approaching 65 years of age and/or nearing retirement, many people may have questions on health insurance options including Medicare. This workshop is designed to address those questions and provide information to help you feel comfortable and confident about the transition to Medicare, according to a news release from Wawasee Community Schools.
In this workshop, Maria Wogomon, CSA, an Everence Financial representative, specializing in Medicare, will help bring clarity to:
• The parts of Medicare.
• What are your options if you continue to work?
• Enrollment details and deadlines.
• Social Security - when to start?
• Prescription drug coverage.
• Plans that supplement Medicare.
