Warsaw’s Grimmett To Grapple At WabashWarsaw’s Jose Grimmett (front row center) capped his wrestling career at Warsaw with a strong senior season, and the Tiger 152-pounder has decided to continue his wrestling and educational focus in the fall at Wabash College in Crawfordsville. Grimmett earned first team All-Northern Lakes Conference this season, went 30-8 on the year including being a quarterfinalist at the East Chicago Semistate this season. He was also a three-time regional qualifier, twice awarded the Tiger Pride award, and he was named as the team captain this past season. The WCHS Scholar Athlete has amassed an impressive 9.72 GPA while enrolled in multiple dual credit and advanced level courses, and he was named to the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Academic All-State team this year. He is a recipient of the Tri-Kappa Award, he has assisted with community service programs such as Feed My Starving Children, and he has been a big help with Warsaw Tiger Club Wrestling serving as a volunteer as well as a participant.
