Students in fourth through sixth grade from many of the Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) elementary buildings recently participated in Circle the State with Song, held in Marion.
For 35 years, Circle the State with Song has been a part of Indiana’s choral experience. The statewide festival brings together nearly 4,000 elementary and junior high and middle school students from hundreds of schools each spring at 12 sites across Indiana. More than 15,000 community members attend these annual concerts, according to a news release from WCS.
Participation in Circle the State with Song provides students with a unique opportunity to take part in a large-scale choral performance while strengthening their vocal skills and music literacy. Students from across WCS prepared for this opportunity through numerous rehearsals.
