The Warsaw Redevelopment Commission on Monday had a quick and simple meeting.
During the meeting, the board approved:
• A change order for the Warsaw Tech Park lift station. The change order does not involve any money, according to City Planner Jeremy Skinner, but increases the contract days for G & G Hauling & Excavating by 21 days.
For the most part, the project was completed by the end of 2019, but Skinner said there were certain aspects of the project that couldn’t be completed until the weather warms back up, like asphalt and grass restoration.
• Two proposals from Baker Tilly, an accounting and consulting firm, for $3,800 and $2,300, for the completion and submission of annual bond issue reporting requirements.
“Every year, we’re required to do audit reports on our bond issues, and Baker Tilly completes those requirements for us as part of the regulatory requirements from the Federal Trade Commission for our bond issue,” Skinner said, noting that the Commission “does this every year.”
• Claims, including $60,725.88 to G & G Hauling & Excavating for part of the lift station at the Warsaw Tech Park; $850 to Regions Corp. Trust Operations for bond issues; $24.47 to the Times-Union for legal advertising; $1,398.10 to Wessler Engineering for the ongoing Airport Industrial Park sanitary sewer oversight; $3,793.92 to A & Z Engineering for the CR 150 (Silveus Crossing) and U.S. 30 intersection engineering improvements; and $2,600 to Barnes & Thornburg for professional services for the Buffalo and Market streets projects.
• To reschedule the April meeting from April 6 to April 13 at 4 p.m.
