Warsaw Parks & Rec. Dept. Offers Community Paddle Boarding & Canoeing

Posted

Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department is excited to welcome summer with their very first Community Paddle Boarding & Canoeing Day of the season.
Come out and join them on Wednesday, June 4, anytime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. for a relaxing adventure on the lake —whether you prefer a paddle board or canoe, the water’s waiting. It’s free for all ages at Pike Lake, 1009 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.
While registration isn't required, each participant, or a parent/guardian for those under 18, must sign an annual waiver and rules acknowledgment. One waiver is needed per participant each year. The waiver can be found by visiting the website at https://warsaw.in.gov/818/Free-Programs
Please note, anyone under the age of 16 must have an adult accompany them in the water. All necessary equipment, including life vests, will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment usage is limited to designated time slots, and safety briefings will be given to all participants before they get started. Park staff will be on hand to supervise all activities for your safety.
