Warsaw Parks Dept. Reminds Residents That Center, Pike Lake Beaches Are Swim At Your Own Risk
The Wipe Out obstacle course is one of the most popular activities in the summer at Center Lake and Pike Lake beaches. It brought dozens of children and adults out to Pike Lake on Wednesday. With no lifeguards this summer at either beach, however, Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department staff not only set up the obstacle course, but also supervised and took it down.

As summer temperatures continue to rise and residents seek relief at local beaches, the Parks Department reminds the community that swimming at both Center Lake Beach and Pike Lake Beach is strictly at your own risk. The Parks Department will not employ lifeguards at either beach during the 2026 summer season. As a result, no lifeguard supervision will be provided at any time, according to the city.
