Warsaw Man Facing Sexual Misconduct Charge After Allegedly Fathering Child With TeenA Warsaw man recently was arrested for sexual misconduct after a teenager named him as the father of her baby.
Miguel Perez Lucas, 27, of 3994 W. Old 30, Warsaw, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 6:02 p.m. Thursday and faces a Level 4 felony sexual misconduct with a minor charge.
According to the probable cause affidavit field Feb. 27, 2019, in Kosciusko Superior Court I, on Nov. 20, 2018, an investigator with Child Protective Services contacted law enforcement and reported that a juvenile was pregnant and she had listed Lucas as the father of the child on the doctor’s report. Lucas was 25 at the time of the reported incident, according to court papers.
When police spoke with Lucas, he allegedly admitted he had sex with the juvenile once in May 2018 and said that he knew the girl was underage.
When police spoke with the girl, she said she and Lucas had intercourse five times between May and July 2018, according to the affidavit.
