Monoquet Road, Warsaw, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 7:46 p.m. Tuesday and faces charges for domestic battery to a pregnant woman, a Level 5 felony; domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a Level 6 felony; strangulation, a Level 6 felony; intimidation, a Level 6 felony; carrying a handgun without a license, a Class A misdemeanor; domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor; pointing a firearm, a Class A misdemeanor; carrying a handgun without a license, a Level 5 felony; domestic battery with a prior conviction enhancement charge, a Level 6 felony; and possession of a firearm by a domestic batterer, a Class A misdemeanor.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Oct. 15 in Kosciusko Superior Court I, on Aug. 5 Warsaw police were dispatched to a home regarding a report of a person pointing a gun at another person.

Upon arrival, police spoke with the woman who said she’s 12 weeks pregnant with Moore’s child and they had been arguing that day because Moore was upset she was out running errands and not home.

When the woman got home, according to court papers, Moore drew a loaded gun that was holstered at his hip, threatened to shoot the woman and pointed it at her forehead, then pushed her in the chest and choked her.

Another child present during the incident allegedly asked Moore if he was going to kill her.

The woman’s stepmother had arrived on scene and provided police with home surveillance footage that provided law enforcement with audio from the altercation. Police could hear a gun being cocked and arguing and the child asking if Moore was going to kill someone, according to the affidavit.

When police spoke with Moore, according to court papers, he admitted to pointing the gun at the woman and remembered the child asking if he was going to kill someone but denied ever touching anyone.

According to court records, Moore was convicted of a Level 6 felony in 2017 in Kosciusko County Superior Court I for domestic battery committed in the present of a child less than 16 years of age.

His bond was set at $11,000.
