Warsaw Library Board Considers Future Renovations

Posted
Warsaw Community Public Library's parking lot is just one aspect of potential future renovations the library's board of trustees has been asked to consider.

During a meeting Monday, WCPL Director Ann Zydek provided a list of ideas from Facility Supervisor Bruce Hively on various projects he'd like to see happen in the library's future.

"If you look around the building, you're going to start noticing some things that just need to have a refreshed look," said Zydek. "The parking lot's going to be a major one."

Currently, there are no active construction or renovation projects in the works, as the board is still taking ideas into consideration.

Zydek also informed the board of three new employees in the library's children's services department: Stephanie Goodwin, Sarah Overstreet and Sara Maseman.

"They are right in the middle of summer reading challenges," said Zydek about the new staff. "I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far and how they're trying to learn."

WCPL's Board of Trustees' next regular meeting is at 4 p.m. July 10.
