Warsaw FFA Places Fifth At State ContestThe Warsaw FFA chapter competed Feb. 12 in the Indiana FFA State Chapter Meeting Leadership Development Event at Lebanon High School.
For their effort, the Warsaw FFA Senior Chapter Meeting team earned fifth place in the state. Members on the team include Breanna Thompson, Lilly Haywood, Alyssa Swanson, Anthony Taylor, Thomas Boggs, Jazmyn Taylor and Rylan Cooper.
The team had to demonstrate the correct procedures of a chapter meeting, including opening ceremonies, order of business and closing ceremonies. A few of the skills required in this event include knowledge of parliamentary law and use of parliamentary procedure to conduct an orderly and efficient meeting and present logical, realistic and convincing discussions on the topics presented.
The team is coached by Ot Schroeder and Chapter FFA advisor Jacob Riley.
