MILFORD – Warren W. “Bill” Robinson, 91, of Milford, passed away April 16, 2012, in Mason Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Warsaw.
He was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Fulton County, to Letcher and Nora Deck Robinson. On June 1, 1940, he married Dorothy Abbott, who survives.
He moved to the Milford area from South Bend in 1983 and retired from the Bendix Corp. in 1984. He served in the U.S. Navy, attended Milford United Methodist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Kewanna. He enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms, wood working and traveling, visiting almost of the states. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Also surviving are a son, John (and spouse Sharon) Robinson, Lakeville; a daughter, Becky Runnells, Warsaw; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bill Robinson Jr.; four sisters; and two brothers.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W. CR 900N, Milford, officiated by the Rev. L. Robert Nelson. Military rites will follow.
