I live behind Walmart in Yellow Apartments here in Warsaw.
Behind our homes on the East side of the street on Parent Drive is a wooden fence owned by Walmart. In March of this year (2026) a windstorm blew a large part of the fence down. It has been lying there on the ground with no effort by Walmart to repair it.
The reason I am concerned about this problem is in my opinion it creates a very dangerous situation. This is a Senior Community and when children come to visit and play in the backyards and venture onto the debris they could be injured. Or worse yet, go beyond the fallen fence area and go where there is a water ditch where they could really be in great danger in that area.
I have talked to management at Walmart they said “they are working on it.”
I am writing this in behalf of my neighbors at Yellow Apartments.
