Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is celebrating the people who make its Community Theatre programming possible with a special Community Theatre Week fundraising promotion leading up to the Sept. 25-27 performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
From now through Sept. 20, patrons who make a direct donation of $50 or more through Wagon Wheel Community Theatre’s dedicated donation page will receive an exclusive Wagon Wheel Community Theatre tote bag as a thank-you for supporting local theatre, according to a provided news release.
The promotion is designed to celebrate Community Theatre supporters while helping sustain opportunities for local performers, artists, technicians, volunteers and theatre enthusiasts to participate in the performing arts.
How the Community Theatre Week Promotion Works
Make a minimum $50 direct donation to Wagon Wheel Community Theatre between now and Sept. 20.
Make the donation through the dedicated Community Theatre giving page at wagonwheelcenter.org/donatewwct.
Attend a performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on Sept. 25, 26 or 27.
Pick up your exclusive Community Theatre tote bag when you arrive at the theater.
Donations must be made through the Community Theatre-specific donation page to qualify for the tote bag. Donations made through Wagon Wheel’s general donation page do not qualify for this promotion.
All donations help support Wagon Wheel’s Community Theatre programming and its continued commitment to providing opportunities for community members to experience, participate in and support the performing arts. The promotion coincides with Wagon Wheel Community Theatre’s upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” running Sept. 25-27 at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts. Directed by Dana McAfee and presented with an 1980s-inspired twist, audiences can expect mistaken identities, mischievous fairies, tangled romances and plenty of theatrical chaos, all presented in Wagon Wheel’s signature in-the-round setting.
The $50 donation promotion ends Sept. 20, and tote bags will be available for qualifying donors to pick up at their “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” performance.
