SYRACUSE – Viviane B. Smith, 79, of Warsaw, passed away Aug. 6, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born May 25, 1933, in Big Pine, N.C., to Walter and Fannie Ball Buckner. She married Wayne Smith Sr., who survives.
They moved to the Syracuse area following Wayne’s retirement. They lived in the Portage area most of their lives. She was a homemaker and sold Avon for many years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Rebecca Smith, Syracuse; and three grandchildren, Jeff Smith, Las Vegas, N.V., and John and Julie Smith, Chesterton. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Smith Jr.; a sister; and two brothers.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating.
