BOURBON – On Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, Virginia May Darrah Foster, loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away at Miller's Merry Manor of Wabash at the age of 102.
She was born on June 30, 1918, in Modoc, to Leonard and Leona Barker Darrah. She married Charles Foster on March 20, 1939, and had four children: Charles David, Linda, Keith and Charles (Curt).
Virginia loved to read, assemble puzzles, play dice and play bingo. She will be remembered by family for being incredibly loving and funny.
Virginia is survived by son-in-law, Mike White, of Mesick, Mich.; daughter-in-law, Joan Foster, of Wabash; daughter-in-law, Robin Foster, of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Dean (Cheri) White, of Cadillac, Mich.; Shannon (Jennifer) White, of Ellsworth, Mich.; Amanda Foster (Sean Kennedy), of Washington, D.C.; Austin (Emily) Foster, of Indianapolis; Matthew Foster, of San Diego, Calif.; and Jill Foster, of San Diego, Calif.; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are husband, Charles Foster; daughter, Linda White; son, Keith Foster; son, Charles C. Foster; son, Charles D. Foster; granddaughter, Heaven Foster; also her sisters: Gladys (Darrah) Coy, Mary (Darrah) Scott, Elizabeth (Darrah) Prentiss, Esther (Darrah) Thomas, Betty (Darrah) Day, Rhea (Darrah) Cadwell; and her only brother, Leonard Darrah.
In honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.
