Violet S. Sparks, 83, died at 2:10 p.m. Sept. 9, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born July 29, 1927, in Monticello, to John Howard and Alta Geneva Scott Arrasmith. On Dec. 3, 1949, in Monticello, she married Harold Sparks, who died June 28, 1987.
Living most of her Life in Warsaw, she was a final finisher for Korth Furniture and Endicott Furniture, both formerly in Warsaw.
Surviving are a daughter, Harla D. Sparks, Warsaw; a son, Sterling Sparks, Warsaw; a sister, Leanna Condinho, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Star Sparks, who died May 30, 1959.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
