People who attempt to write about Israel need to actually live there to find out what is going on. I've lived there for more than a year and made 15 trips there to study, learn, write and take pictures. My daughter and five grandchildren live in Israel.
Do you really think the drive-by media tells the truth? In 2005 Israel gave Gaza to the "Palestinians." It was called "Land For Peace." In reality, it is always Land for War. The Arabs immediately destroyed their own sewer system aquifer, homes, synagogues (they could have at least had the sense to use them), libraries, etc., etc. Then they began building and importing missiles.
Since 2005 the "Palestinians" fired more than 6,000 rockets into Israel. The Jewish people finally retaliated. Can you imagine the American people having this much patience if Mexicans fired 6,000 rockets into the United States? But, suddenly, the world paints the Jews as the bad guys. Is this dumb or dumber?
Get a clue, people, and let a little light shine in on your brain. Why don't the people who choose to stick their heads in the sand ever mention the violence in Israel and the thousands of innocent Jewish people who have been killed and maimed for life from the rocket attacks? These are things the media never mentions. Why don't some of the pretend do-gooders send some of their money to help widows and orphans in Israel?
Down through history, the Jewish people have been blamed for many things. In this "enlightened time," one would think that we might have learned that everything that goes wrong in the world is not the fault of the Jews.
