Vets & Pets

On March 30 at 6:30 a.m., I tried calling for help for a veterinarian. I would get a recording to call this number. I did get the same response to each and every one.

I finally called a veterinarian at Bourbon. He answered the phone. I told him about my dog. He told me what to expect, and how I could help her get some relief, and to call on Monday for an appointment, and I did.

What upsets me is no one in Warsaw could answer their phones or help. Warsaw is such a money-hungry town. Where is their compassion for animals? They, too, need help. We have help for our needs. Where are the doctors for our pets who we love? They, too, are our family. Why can't Warsaw have help for our pets, too?

I've lived here all my life. There is help for everyone but our dogs and cats. We never know when they are going to be sick. What if a veterinarian needs a doctor for their family and called for help? All you hear is a recording to call another number and get no help. It's horrible. You feel so helpless knowing your pet is hurting and you don't know what to do.

One veterinarian called but was very short with me. I, too, got upset. Finally, I got a very nice veterinarian that told me how to help my dog.

Warsaw, we need a veterinarian to help on weekends. And not $300 just to look at your pet. I don't understand.
