Editor, Times-Union: Recently, I received a postcard from my representative, Mr. Curt Nisly, saying we should stay connected. Do I have to remind Mr. Nisly that the Indiana General Assembly is dead last with veteran benefits? The General Assembly has time for barbers and beauty shops, but not for the veteran. Mr. Nisly put important numbers on his post card, but omitted the number for the VA (Veteran Administration, 1-800-827-1000). I guess the VA is not important to Mr. Nisly. I wonder if the Indiana General Assembly knows what Nov. 11 really means, other than it is a federal holiday. Paul Fribley Warsaw
