Editor, Times-Union: I would like to give the lieutenant governor, Mr Eric. Holcomb, an even break. When he said he oversees the department of defense development section, he threw out accolades right and left for our military men and women. Mr. Holcomb left out one accolade being that the state of Indiana is dead last for veterans’ benefits. Every military veteran knows this slogan, “hurry up and wait,” but for how long? Will the statehouse once again give the veteran lip service? Time will tell. Paul Fribley Warsaw
