GOSHEN - Verna L. Bickel, 88, of 61370 Ind. 13, Goshen, died at 12:50 a.m. May 24, 2008, in Goshen General Hospital.
She was born Jan. 11, 1920, in Middlebury, to Edwin D. and Lydia Egli Miller. On Oct. 5, 1947, at Fish Lake, she married Edward "John" Bickel, who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Leola Plank, Milford. She was preceded in death by three sisters and nine brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with the Rev. Bert Pauluhn officiating. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
