Update On 300N & Shelden St. Intersection Project Provided

Phend & Brown Inc. announced on Wednesday a construction update on the CR 300N and Shelden Street intersection improvement project.
The following schedule of activities is provided to highlight major activities. Changing weather conditions and/or internal schedule changes may alter the dates below. Traffic control signage will be provided in advance of and during any closure, according to the release provided.
The final phase will begin on or after Friday. Construction warning signs will be installed. Temporary daytime traffic restrictions during work activities will occur. These may be lane restrictions with flaggers and/or a partial closure of the road. Any closures used will be removed at the end of each work day.
Work to finish the project is expected to progress as follows:
• Surface milling and pavement cleaning at project ends to tie into the existing roads.
• Street light installation, pole bases, poles, final wiring.
• Walking path aggregate base and asphalt.
• Final surface asphalt and pavement markings.
• Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes due to anticipated traffic delays.
• Project completion is anticipated in June.
