URBANA — Kalenborn Abresist Corporation, a leading provider of wear-resistant linings and materials for industrial applications across North America, announced the promotion of Scott Dietrich, currently chief operating officer, to the role of president, effective April 1.
In his current role as COO, Dietrich has been instrumental in driving operational excellence, strengthening customer partnerships and advancing the company's longterm strategic initiatives. His leadership has played a pivotal role in expanding manufacturing capabilities, improving process efficiency, and guiding the company through dynamic market conditions.
"Scott has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and dedication to Kalenborn Abresist," said Craig Frendewey, outgoing president. "His ability to align our operational strategy with our mission and customer needs has made a profound impact on the organization. We are confident he will continue to lead with integrity and innovation as President."
Dietrich joined Kalenborn Abresist in 1989, beginning his career in the company's welding department. Over 36 years, he has progressed through increasingly responsible positions including department lead, shop foreman, plant manager, and director of production before being named chief operating officer in March 2023. His deep operational expertise and comprehensive understanding of the company's manufacturing processes have been instrumental in Kalenborn's continued success.
"I am honored to step into this role and lead Kalenborn Abresist into its next chapter," said Dietrich. "Having grown with this company for more than three decades, I've seen firsthand the dedication of our team and the trust our customers place in us. I look forward to building on our strong foundation and expanding our impact across North America's critical industrial sectors."
