Editor, Times-Union: In reference to the Aug. 3 “Beware of Craig’s List Scam” submitted by Michael Alspaugh: I appreciate anyone that alerts the public of scams. However, considering how many times I’ve heard of this scam before, I doubt that was his real point. I believe it was just another Republican’s way of sneaking through a crack to slam Democrats and Hillary Clinton. “It is as bogus as a $7-1/2 bill with Hillary on it.” That was not called for.
