AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley High School (TVHS) is proud to welcome back its first-ever graduating class, the Class of 1975, at this Friday’s home football game against Jimtown, kicking off at 7 p.m. Sept. 26, 2025.
As part of the celebration, members of the Class of 1975 will enjoy a special evening that includes a tour of the school and an opportunity to reminisce and reconnect with classmates and staff, according to a news release from TVHS.
In addition to the reunion festivities, the TVHS National Honor Society (NHS) will be hosting a community food drive during the game. NHS students will be collecting nonperishable food items and hygiene products to support local families in need. Donations will benefit food pantries in both Akron and Mentone, as well as help restock the newly established food cabinet at Mentone Youth League.
For several years, the TVHS NHS has been a driving force in addressing food insecurity across the Tippecanoe Valley community, the release states. Their ongoing commitment to service has made a tangible impact in the lives of many, and this latest initiative continues their tradition of compassionate leadership and civic engagement.
Community members attending the game are encouraged to bring donations and join TVHS in celebrating its past while supporting a brighter future for all.
