TVHS To Hold Free QPR On Suicidal Communications Tuesday

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley High School is offering QPR training class QPR training class for the community. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the TVHS lecture room. The event is free.
What is QPR? QPR is not a form of counseling or treatment. QPR offers hope through positive action.
By learning QPR, you will come to recognize the warning signs, clues and suicidal communications of people in trouble and gain skills to act vigorously to prevent a possible tragedy.
The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training.
