Triton Tennis Courts Get K21 Rehab Grant

Posted
The renovation of Triton School Corporation’s tennis courts has been completed with the help of a $75,000 grant from K21 Health Foundation.

Approved by K21’s Board of Directors in late 2019, the grant provided Triton with the remaining funding needed to finish the project, according to a news release from K21 Health Foundation.

“One of K21’s goals is to help make sure the residents of our county have access to facilities that help them be active so they can live healthier lives,” said K21 President & CEO Rich Haddad. “In some of the more rural communities, this is especially important as it can be challenging for some to travel to take advantage of amenities offered in the central part of Kosciusko County. We were thrilled to be able to help Triton improve the facilities, and we commend them for allowing and encouraging their community to make use of the facilities, as well as its student athletes.”

“We appreciate K21’s generous gift to Triton for the tennis courts,” said Jeremy Riffle, Triton School Corporation superintendent. “These funds helped us to resurface four courts, and in addition, install lines for pickleball on them, which has become very popular in recent years. We are excited to be able to offer the use of our courts to our community.”
