Warsaw needs a year-round homeless shelter. A near- downtown location such as the Trinamic building would be ideal as shelter residents could walk to get groceries and other needs.
Hopefully, this facility can be renovated to accommodate men, women and children. The residents can participate in the maintenance of the building and grounds and our community is blessed with volunteers who could support the staff in their programs.
For insight into this subject, I highly recommend reading "Same Kind of Different As Me" by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. I suggest you have a box of tissues nearby. God bless the efforts of those trying to put this together.
