Staff Report-
The Watershed Foundation welcomed a summer intern, Treyton Martin.
Martin grew up in Nappanee and graduated from NorthWood High School. He is a student at Yale University working toward a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
He loves to travel and see nature all around the world, while the lakes remain close to his heart, according to a news release from TWF. He has always loved spending time on the lakes and he can’t wait to work with TWF to preserve them, the release states.
For more information about how The Watershed Foundation has been taking action to improve and protect the lakes and streams of the Upper Tippecanoe River Watershed, visit www.watershedfoundation.org or call 574-834-3242. TWF, a non-profit organization, is celebrating their 25th year in 2022, serving portions of Kosciusko, Whitley and Noble counties.
